The magnetostrictive linear position sensors in profile design belong to the Profile series. They are mounted using mounting clamps and are housed in anodized aluminum. These sensors can accommodate a maximum of 1 magnet and are equipped with a 10-pin MS connector for connection. They feature a quadrature interface and offer a measuring range of 610 mm with a resolution of ≤ 50 µm. The maximum non-linearity is ±0.02% FS, and the repeat accuracy is ≤ 5 µm. They operate on an operating voltage of 10 to 30 VDC and can withstand ambient temperatures ranging from -40 to 85 °C. With an IP67 rating per IEC 60529, they are protected against dust and water ingress. These sensors are CE, cULus, EAC, and WEEE approved/conformant.
